 Whinter Bonsai Series

I’ve been wanting to use bonsai trees as the subject in some of my works!

So, I created a series of five, small bonsai-themed paintings for the 2019 Holiday Shows. They are a good introduction for me, as I’d like to continue incorporating bonsai trees into larger, non-holiday works in the near future.

These original artworks were painted with acrylics on 6.5″ x 8″ panel.

My solo art exhibit at the Anton Art Center!

The kind staff at Anton Art Center have invited me to do a solo show of my work, and I can't tell you how happy, excited (and nervous) I am!

My show runs from November 18th to December 23rd, 2016.

(There will also be a special artists meet and greet on Sunday, November 20th from 1:00 until 3:00 pm - refreshments provided)!

If you stop by, I'm sure you'll notice the amazing Christmas market on the first floor of the gallery. There are so many amazing works by local artists - It will be a very happy time for me to see them all!

In addition to my original paintings, cards and prints will be available in the show as well.

OK, I better get back to work - I want all the paint to be dry by November 18th!

Introduction

It's always challenging for me to live through this eyes. Especially, back then, when I was young living in Japan. My parents never mentioned about my syndrome at school.

You could say that was a culture. People usually take these things as excuse. Especially that moment. I think it's changing now.
